Please forgive me oh Lord! Maybe I have committed many sins in the past So I have come here as a blind Yet how merciful you are! You have sent me again in a mother's womb I see you in my heart all the time I utter: I will worship you throughout the life... Before an old broken photo frame an old mother weeps silently in grief memorizing her son, buried in war! still her soft kisses are flowing in air and colourful too; only the sky knows what she lost. I might give you few words, oh Mother! I might write few lines by this heart which a blind can read and a deaf can hear If it gives you peace then this life is for you, oh Mother. I'm a thirsty bird I might squeeze all drops from your tearful heart If it gives you peace, then you know this sand and I and the reflection of your eyes are one. In the flame of hope I've held the sun Expand your wings in the sky, o tree and kisses water drops; No more war, no more blood you and I will sit face to face under the sky And I've planted the seed in the rays of moonlight which will illuminate around the globe in peace being the sun of us. @Akshaya Kumar Samanta

You were alone in your bed your body was trembling in fever eyes were full of tears you were anxious if I should come or not! From a thousand miles I was coming I was drowned in the snow, my dreams were still in the sky My hands were tied with chain, my wishes were still in the air Absolute darkness all around, the moon still in my eyes... Crossing the seashore and stones I came Your chest was thrilling the sick cells woke up on my soft touch you kept your heart empty - there you and I were dancing being one... My mind draws so many dreams In your marine eyes. If any midnight you are sleepless The windows are opened to the wind of spring Your mind is floating elsewhere in the sky Crossing the garden, across the river And passing through the moon, stars; Consciously follow there : My every poem is written to you My words are shining in your soft sketch In the heart of sky... Does the river still paint your eyes? Do the waves still roil in your chest? Your earrings are swinging in the breeze... The cloudy sky with your open hair shade - I'm fearless if I see the cloud now Because I know you'll cry out a little later Keeping your soft face in my lap And I'll remove the tears of arrogance By adhesive fingers fluttering in your cheek... Few letters can paint a mind Few words can create a sky of heart Few sentences can speed up a whole life One day my body will be burnt after death But I'll alive within the pages of a book As I painted myself within the letters, within the words, within the sentences of a book. I sit in silence A million rays of hope come to me And break the whole darkness within me; The fallen leaves come to me and say: Don't stop, give us life again by your pen And I start to give them colours. No need of fire A book is enough to light up human soul Where love and compassion kiss each other. The letters can breathe in your lungs If you arrange yourself like a book in this desert The words can drink all your pain If you arrange dreams line by line in your blood.
